The Edge 3 (previously Amateur Designs) was founded in 1994.
It 's first product was a simple 1995 24" x 36" wall calendar. Designed to hang on the side of a refrigerator, it could be easily written on with a no.2 pencil. The calendar was the perfect organizer for the busy 9 year old Student, Cub Scout, Soccer player, Ti-Kwan do Warrior, whose schedule was almost too over whelming for his single mom.
When the word of the calendar got out, a supply in demand developed. In November of 1994 Amatuer Designs published 2,500 calendars at a cost of $300. They were then individualy imprinted with slogans using a 9" x 12" silk screen. Parents and Small Businesses willingly paid $3.00 - $7.00 for the product.
